Sipping lemonade this weekend can help local 4-H’ers continue the dream of a young girl who wanted to do what she could to cure cancer. The Whitebreast Beavers 4-H club and Little Beavers Cloverkids will be hosting their 2nd annual “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” here in Knoxville Saturday. Proceeds will go to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer which was started by four year-old Alexandra Scott of Pennsylvania before she lost her life to the disease in 2004. The 4-H clubs will be at the Hy-Vee parking lot Saturday from 10am until 4pm and hope to raise $2,000 for the foundation.
