The Knoxville School Board made it official last night by approving the hire of Clint Driftmier as the school’s next boys basketball coach. Driftmier is from College Springs, Iowa and was a standout out at Central College from 2003-to-2007 ranking ninth all time in career scoring and fifth all-time in career rebounds. Driftmier was an assistant coach for the Panthers for the last three seasons and takes over for Brad McWilliams who stepped down in May after three seasons as the head coach.
