Former Knoxville Baseball Standout Scott Ethell has been named to the all-Iowa Conference first team. Ethell finished the season with a 420 batting average with five home runs and 41 R-B-I and ended his career at Simpson College with a 369 batting average which was the sixth best in program history.

Ethell earned all-Iowa Conference Male Athlete of the week March 28th during a stretch where he batted 455 and hit two home runs with six R-B-I in a weekend sweep of Luther. Simpson finished the season 23-18 and went 3-2 in the Iowa Conference Tournament.
