A farewell celebration will be held this evening to say goodbye to Knoxville’s East Elementary, as it will no longer be used as a school attendance center. The public is invited to come take a look around the building and check out the time capsule that has been made for the event as they enjoy refreshments and live music. Farewell to East Night will take place from 6 until 7:30pm.
