The Knoxville City Council met in regular session yesterday evening. At the meeting the board received an update from the Parks Advisory Commission who stated that their current primary concern is vandalism and destruction of area parks. Commission member Pennie Sommar stated they are looking into several options to prevent this from happening in the future including a gate system for the bathroom doors and security cameras.
