Pella High School and Creighton University basketball star and current NBA player Kyle Korver is finding himself in some new territory this summer. For the first time in his NBA career, Korver is a free agent and could potentially sign with his third team since being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2003.
Korver says he has really enjoyed playing for the Utah Jazz, but says he will also take the chance to see what else is out there for him. Korver set the NBA’s all-time single-season record for three-point percentage in a season this year, knocking down 54 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.
The NBA’s free agent negotiations and signing period won’t begin until July 1st.
