A Pella High School graduate was among the members of the Central College men’s tennis team to have received end-of-season honors for his contributions to the team. Freshman Bryn Boswell was named Rookie of the Year for the Dutch, who finished the season with an 11-14 record in dual meets this season, placing fifth in the Iowa Conference.

Boswell also earned his first Varsity letter this season and went 13-10 in singles play and was 2-10 as a member of Central’s No. 1 doubles team. Another product of the Pella High School boys tennis program, Central sophomore Jesse Wineland, earned his first Varsity letter as well this season for the Dutch.
