The Knoxville boys soccer team is making their state tournament debut this afternoon. The Panthers achieved a tournament birth after their 3-2 penalty kick win over Pella on Saturday. No. 8 seed Knoxville will now play the No. 1 seed, Dubuque Wahlert in the opening round of the Class 2-A State Soccer Tournament this afternoon. The game is set to begin at 2:30pm at the Cownie Soccer Complex in Des Moines.
