Chris Peterson has resigned as football coach at Melcher-Dallas.  According to Athletic Director Jim Crozier, Peterson resigned from the football team and is no longer employed by the school.  In four seasons with the Saints Peterson compiled a 24-16 record and guided Melcher-Dallas to the eight-man playoffs each year.  Last season the Saints got in despite one of the few teams to have an under 500 record.  Peterson was also the boys track and field coach.  Crozier has taken over the football coaching duties at Melcher-Dallas.
