According to Knoxville Public Works Director Jeff May two separate areas of East Pleasant Street will be repaired this week causing some minor delays. Due to minor buckling on East Pleasant, west of Godfrey Lane on the north side of 3M, the city’s contractor will be making necessary repairs between rain showers. During this time traffic will be limited to one lane, with short periods of time where the street will be closed in both directions. May asks that motorists use an alternative route if possible, slow down in the area and be alert when driving near the construction.
