Area youth will have two chances this summer to learn some basic outdoor survival skills from the park rangers at Lake Red Rock. “Survivor: Red Rock” is for boys and girls ages 11 to 12 years old and will teach participants how to build a fire, make an emergency shelter, and learn basic navigation skills, among other things. The programs will last five hours and be held on Friday, June 25th; and Friday, July 23rd. Pre-registration is required and can be done by calling 628-8690 or 828-7522.
