A total of 1,135 exhibits were entered in this year’s Marion County Fair and 53 top entries will represent the county at the Iowa State Fair next month. Marion County will have eight entries in the state Ag and Natural Resources Department, one in the area of Child Development, three entries in the Clothing Department, two 4-H Communication Posters, six Food and Nutrition Department entries, one in the Historical/family Heritage Department, six entries in Home Improvement, one in Issues, three Personal Development exhibits, 12 photography exhibits, five Science, Mechanics and Engineering entries, four Visual Arts entries, and one Consumer Management entry. The exhibits will be on display through the duration of the fair August 12th-22nd in the 4-H Exhibits Building.
