Republican gubernatorial candidate Terry Branstad, and his pick for lieutenant governor Kim Reynolds, will be making a campaign stop in Marion County today. Branstad and Reynolds will be in Knoxville this afternoon to meet with interested citizens and discuss economic issues in the state of Iowa. Branstad served as Iowa governor from 1983 to 1999 and is running against current Democratic Governor Chet Culver in an attempt to win back the office this November. The town hall event will take place at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum at 2:30pm and is open to the public.
