The Celebration Iowa Singers performed a free concert for children Monday afternoon in the Knoxville High School commons area. Children 5 and under were able to get a sneak peak of what Monday evenings’ performance would be like free of charge. The group performed a few selections from their full program for kids from Stepping Stones Early Learning Center and other young children and their families. Program choreographer Erin Taylor, who is a Knoxville High School alum says she’s having a great time on tour with Celebration Iowa and really enjoys choreographing the shows and being able to see it performed in her hometown. The group also performed at Celebrate Church last night for a large group of community members and proceeds from the show went to benefit the Save Our Stadium project.
