This season, not much was said about going to state during the Knoxville Baseball Season. It wasn’t because the Panthers didn’t think they would get to the State Tournament, but Coach Steve Mott kept his team focused on the smaller details. He adds they try to do things the right way from what they do on the field to how they conduct themselves off the field. Mott adds when a team does things the right way, the rest of the goals they set out to accomplish will fall into place. Knoxville plays Independence Tuesday at noon in the first round of the class 3A State Tournament.
