The Hospice of Central Iowa recently partnered with the Knoxville Raceway for a fill the stands night, which exceeded organizers expectations. 384 tickets were purchased with the “Fill the Stands for the Hospice of Central Iowa” coupons Saturday night, that not only offered race fans a discount but also helped raise money for the hospice. Each coupon was worth a $3 donation from the raceway, and when combined with raffle proceeds, the hospice raised $1,500 for their quality of life program. Debbie Kissinger, Hospice of Central Iowa Development Associate says the event exceeded their expectations and she was glad they were able to raise money and build awareness about the organization.
