Republican Iowa Attorney General Candidate Brenna Findley and Republican Marion County Attorney Candidate Ed Bull met with interested citizens in Knoxville Thursday afternoon at the Coffee Connection. At the event Findley mentioned her concern about how infrequently the Attorney General’s power to assist in economic development is used by the current administration. If elected, she says she plans to address the books that unnecessarily impede the growth of small business and jobs in the state of Iowa. Bull said his main concern is that of justice, for both criminals and victims. He says more can be done to provide restitution to victims and assures Marion County citizens that he will work diligently to bring necessary cases to trial and not settle for plea bargains.
