Two residents each from Tracy and Pella, along with a Pella organization were among 261 Iowans honored Friday morning at the Governor’s Volunteer Awards ceremony in Ankeny. Those recognized from Pella included Kelley Dooley and Janna Hammes, as well as the Crossroads of Pella Organization. Dooley and Hammes were nominated by Rachel Manuel with the Iowa Campus Compact, and Crossroads of Pella was nominated for the award by Kris Thompson, from the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP).
