The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will hold its Third Thursday Series again this week. Tomorrow the program will be a salute to the late Rich Volger. Volger was a two-time USAC Sprint Car Champion and a five-time USAC Midget Champion. Vogler tragically lost his life in a racing accident while leading a race in July of 1990 in Salem, Indiana. He was also inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 1992. His Mother…Eleanor Volger will be on hand to share memoires of her son. The event will start at seven on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and is free and open to the public.
