Area residents filled Pella’s Central Park last night for “Healthy Living” – the latest theme in a series of very well-attended “Thursdays in Pella” events. The event emphasized health care and healthy lifestyles and included approximately 25 local businesses and organizations sharing information with attendees on how to improve their lives.

A demonstration by Pella Ambulance on extricating a person from a vehicle was one of the most popular attractions on the night, as was the free birthday cake from Pella Regional Health Center; which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
