Kyle Korver made it official yesterday afternoon and the Pella native and former Creighton star will spend the next three seasons as a Bull playing in Chicago.

Korver signed a three year $15 million contract with the Bulls yesterday and will join his former Utah Jazz teammate Carlos Boozer who also signed with the Bulls earlier in the week. Korver will fill a huge need for the Bulls as a complement to point guard Derek Rose and his experience playing with Boozer has the Bulls excited also.

Korver just completed his seventh season in the NBA and was the league’s premier long range shooter setting a new all time single season record for three point percentage connecting on 53% of his shots. Korver averaged seven points per game as a sixth man last season for the Utah Jazz.

This will be Korver’s third team since turning pro as he began in Philidelphia, then was traded to Utah and now for the first time in his career became a free agent and signed with Chicago which will be a popular choice amongst Korver fans in Pella as he will be playing much closer to home.
