The out-flow of water from the Red Rock dam will begin decreasing by very small increments in the coming days. That’s according to the latest forecast from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock.

Currently releasing water at a rate of 50,000 cubic feet per second, the dam is anticipated to be releasing roughly 49,000 cubic feet of water per second by the end of the week. In-flow at Lake Red Rock is near 30,000 cubic feet per second, while the lake’s elevation continues to decrease and is at 774.75 feet as of 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.
