The Motor Inn car dealership in Knoxville has been approved as a General Motors sales and service franchise. General Manager Aaron Axtell tells KNIA/KRLS news the approval process is something they have been working on for more than seven months now and the entire company was very excited to finally receive the good news Wednesday morning. Axtell says this means Motor Inn has met all the requirements and been recognized by General Motors as a GM dealership and will now be able to sell and service Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles. He adds that the dealership will have a larger parts and vehicle inventory at the Knoxville location within 7-14 days. Axtell says without the support of the Knoxville community, the company would not have continued through the long process toward approval from GM and he looks forward to improving moving forward in providing quality service to the area.
