The driver of a motorcycle was transported to the hospital following a collision with another vehicle on the west side of Pella. Shortly before 6:00 a.m. Thursday, a westbound motorcycle collided with the front passenger-side of a vehicle that was turning across traffic near the intersection of Washington and West 5th Streets.

The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries. Charges are pending in the accident. The Pella Police Department is investigating the accident, and was assisted on the scene by Pella Ambulance.
