Panther Baseball Moves on to Sub State Tonight

The Knoxville Baseball Squad will play for a spot at the Class 3A State Tournament tonight. The Panthers will take on Mount Pleasant in Ottumwa in a sub state contest. Knoxville defeated Centerville last night in the District final scoring six runs in the final innings to win in the bottom of the 7th. Tonight’s game starts at seven and can be heard live on AM 1320 KNIA. In related news…the P-C-M baseball squad has already made the Class 2A State Tournament. The Mustangs beat North Polk last night 8-1 in a sub state. P-C-M will take on Davis County in the first round of the Class 2A State Tournament Monday night.
