The third, and final, reading of an ordinance amending the Pella City Code in regards to prohibited signs is among the items to be addressed at this week’s Pella City Council meeting. In other business, the council will consider a resolution approving an agreement to transfer jurisdiction of the Highway 163 railroad to the City of Pella from the Iowa Department of Transportation, and review a special event permit request from Pella Christian Grade School for their annual softball marathon. The Pella City Council meets Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
