The engineering scope and fees for phase one and two services for the Sents Creek wastewater treatment plant digester improvements were approved at Tuesday night’s Pella City Council meeting. The plan calls for the replacement of two digester lids, which have outlasted their life expectancy and have become corroded. The lids will cost $658,000 to replace, with Tuesday night’s resolution approving $98,600 for engineering of the lids and their placement.
