Pella Regional Health Center recently received an Aster Award, recognizes efforts in hospital marketing. The Bronze Award was given to the hospital for a direct mail piece called “School Physicals Now!”, which was created and designed by Billie Rhamy and Liz Terborg of Pella Regional’s Public Relations department in the summer of 2009. The piece was honored in the Single Direct Mail Piece/Small Hospitals category.

The Aster Awards recognize excellence in advertising pieces created by the nation’s most talented health care professionals and grant awards in several categories. Criteria for entries include Creativity, Layout and Design, Typography, Production Quality, Knowledge Transfer and Overall Excellence. A panel of healthcare marketing experts judge the entries.
