Red Rock Out-Flow Predicted to be Reduced Later this Month

If current conditions remain largely unchanged, the out-flow rate at the Red Rock Dam could begin decreasing in stages as early as next weekend. That’s according to the latest forecast from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which will continue to discharge approximately 49,000 cubic feet of water per second until July 24th – at which time the out-flow is to be reduced by 2,000 cubic feet per second each day. As of 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, the water level at Lake Red Rock was near 775 feet feet and decreasing at a rate of around eight inches per day.
