Seven Central College athletes were named to the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team.

Tyler Crouse was tabbed for the men’s squad while the women’s team includes Felicia Coleman, Ashley Feldman, Sam Retz, Emily Teas, Rachelle Tipton and Jill Ziskovsky. To qualify for the honor team, the athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher and have met the automatic or provisional qualifying standard for at least one event in the NCAA Division III outdoor championship meet.

Earlier Teas, Tipton and Ziskovsky qualified for the academic all-Iowa Conference squad. Central student-athletes have now been named to the USTFCCCA honor squad 49 times in the past 10 years.
