Well over one hundred people gathered at the Pella Aquatic Center Wednesday afternoon for an informal memorial for the Kansas City teens who drowned on July 14th. Along with thoughts and prayers for the families of Gael Chrispin and Nehmson Sanon, ministerial leaders from several local churches also led uplifting messages for others involved in the tragic accident; including lifeguards, emergency personnel and camp staff members. The service came before the Pella Aquatic Center reopened for regular hours, after being closed for two weeks.
