The CEO and President of Vermeer Corporation has been selected by President Barack Obama as a member of the President’s Export Council. Mary Vermeer Andringa will join a panel of business leaders from around the country who will offer advice on how to promote U.S. exports, jobs and growth. The appointments of Andringa and other industry leaders came on the same day that Obama gave a progress report on the National Export Initiative, which aims to double exports and support millions of new jobs over five years.
