Warm, sunny weather over the weekend continued to help lower the water level at Lake Red Rock, as the in-flow and out-flow at the reservoir both saw decreases. The lake’s water elevation continues to decrease and was down nearly eight inches in the past 24 hours to 776.33 feet at 5:00 a.m. Monday.
In-flow has declined to a rate of just over 30,000 cubic feet per second; while the out-flow at the Red Rock Dam decreased slightly to 50,000 cubic feet per second. The latest forecast calls for the out-flow to remain the same, as the lake’s water level is expected to decrease at a rate of up to one foot per day in the coming weeks.
