Sprint car drivers will be playing in a different kind of dirt this morning, the kind with four bases and an umpire instead of a large oval and flag wavers. This year’s Knoxville Racing Charitable Organization benefit softball game will feature drivers such as Craig Kinser, Kerry Madsen, Don Droud Jr., Steve Kinser and Austin McCarl against local celebrities including Randy Wilson, Jim Hicks, Trish Worrall, Don Zoutte, Dr. Bob Leonard and city employees competing against each other for a good cause. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 10:30am at the Knoxville High School softball field.
