Approximately 45 people attended a recent meeting in Pella to learn more about farmland leasing. Dale Miller, Program Director with the Marion County ISU Extension Office – which sponsored the meeting – says they covered several topics on farming rental agreements, including information on terminating a lease agreement. Miller adds that September 1st is the state deadline for terminating a lease and says that anyone looking for forms and information or advice on doing so can contact the Marion County ISU Extension Office.
