Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson says he has received word that FEMA officials are in the area. Anderson told KNIA/KRLS news yesterday that he has heard from several flood victims that FEMA officials were going door-to-door of those who applied for federal funding granted by the Presidential Disaster Declaration earlier this week. The officials are checking out damage in area homes and comparing them to reports to evaluate what aid is needed.
