The Indianola School Board voted last night to stay in the Central Iowa Metro League and not make the move to the Little Hawkeye Conference for the foreseeable future. According to the school board, they felt it was in Indianola’s best interest to stay in the C-I-M-L. Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson, who had been watching the situation closely said he really does not know what the L-H-C will do now. He adds the conference has been in contact with other 2A and 3A schools in the area to gauge their interest in joining the Little Hawkeye Conference. Right now the conference eight schools including Knoxville, Pella, Pella Christian, Grinnell, Oskaloosa, Norwalk, South Tama, and former C-I-M-L member Newton.
