A meeting providing information on a variety of topics regarding farmland leasing will be held in Pella on Tuesday. Hosted by the Marion County ISU Extension, the meeting will feature Farm and Ag Management Specialist Steve Johnson and costs $20 per person or $30 per couple to register for, which also covers the cost of a 90-page workbook.

Topics that will be addressed include current land value and cash rental surveys, types of lease agreements, determining fair cash rent, and strategies for writing and terminating a farm lease.

The farmland leasing meeting will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Comfort Inn in Pella, and will last approximately two-and-a-half hours.
