Despite the tough national economy and news that many businesses are holding back on expansions and developments, one Knoxville manufacturing plant continues to move forward and hire additional people to their team. Knoxville 3M Plant Manager Greg Couves says things are going in a positive direction for his plant. He says that by the end of the month the plant will have hired 50 new production employees, they have invested around $20 million in the plant in the past three years and continue to take on new product mandates. Couves says things are going well and they are not holding back in any way.
