Today kicks off the 2010 Iowa State Fair and several Marion County 4-Hers will be competing in various events. Forty area 4-H members will being livestock to this year’s state fair in beef, goat, sheep, dog, horse, swine, rabbit and horticulture categories. While 53 Marion County exhibits will be on display through the duration of the fair August 12-22nd. In addition, 2010 Marion County Fair Queen Lacy Stevenson will compete for the State Fair Queen crown Saturday evening at 7pm on the Anne and Bill Reily Stage.
