The IGHSAU pre season volleyball rankings are out and as expected both Pella and Pella Christian are getting pre season recognition. In Class 2A, Pella Christian, coming off a 23-15 season is ranked 12th, , Western Christian is the top ranked team. in Class 3A, Pella, coming off a 38-6 season is ranked 4th, ahead of Dubuque Wahlert and last years state runners up Sioux City Heelan who are ranked 5th and 6th respectively. To no surprise, despite jumping to 3A this season Mount Vernon us the top ranked team.
