A portion of a street on the east side of Pella will remain closed this week as the last portion of an infrastructure project is completed. University Street, just west of 240th Place, will be closed to all traffic while work on a water main is completed. The work will complete the final stretch of 2700 linear feet of pipe that has been a major undertaking this summer for the Pella Public Works Department. The closure of the portion of University Street near 240th Place is expected to continue through Friday.
