The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Monday morning. At the meeting, the board approved a sign posting by the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau at the intersection of Highway 163 and Elkhorn Drive, along with the appointment of Jim Reynolds to the Marion County Development Commission’s Pleasantville Area. The board also approved a tax certificate number for a parcel of land in Harvey and voted to table a tax certificate number assignment for a landlocked piece of land in Liberty Township.

Monday afternoon the board held a special meeting to get monthly updates from county department heads and elected officials.
