The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in both regular and special session today. Items on the agenda for the regular session at 9:30am include approval of a resolution to allow the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau to construct a public sign at the intersection of Highway 163 and Elkhorn Drive, assigning a tax certificate number to parcels of land in Liberty Township and Harvey along with approval of the appointment of Jim Richards to the Marion County Development Commission. The special session will take place this afternoon at 1pm where the board will receive monthly updates from county department heads and elected officials. Both meetings will take place in the board room of the Marion County Courthouse.
