After back to back wins, Pella Christian is right back in the hunt for a top spot in Class 2A District eight, but will face a tough PCM squad at PCM tomorrow night. The Mustangs have been on a roll winning their last three games by wide margins and are on top of the district with Bondurant Farrar at 3-0 while the Eagles are a game back at 2-1 with their lone loss to Bondurant Farrar. Coach Rich Kacmarynski says this is a key game in the district because PCM and Bondurant Farrar still have to play each other, so one of them will suffer a loss and an Eagles win tomorrow would put them in position to win the district or possibly tie for the title, whereas a loss most likely would eliminate them from the race for the district title. PCM has had Pella Christian’s number the past few seasons in non district play but Kacmarynski says this year the Eagles are primed and ready for the challenge and he feels they’re playing very good football the past couple weeks. You can hear tomorrow’s game with Eric Gotschall and Larry Hessing live on starting with the pre game at 7pm and kickoff at 7:30pm. There will be a delayed broadcast around 10:30pm tomorrow night on 92.1 FM KRLS
