The only thing that was going to stop Central College yesterday at Schipper Stadium was Mother Nature. And that is what it took as lightning caused 76 minutes delay with 8:20 remaining in the fourth quarter and after some discussion the decision was made to declare the game final and Central took the win 34-to-eight. Sophomore Running Back Ross Doehrmann had 131 yards on 21 carries. Coach Jeff McMartin said the defense was once again outstanding allowing Dubuque only 43 yards rushing. Quarterback Nate Snead was nine-for-14 for 115 yards…he also rushed for two scores. Central is now three-and-oh and will take on tenth ranked Coe College next Saturday.
