Lake Red Rock will be hosting a Geocaching event this weekend and Geocachers from all over the world are welcome to participate. Geocaching is a game involving a GPS in which individuals try to find certain prizes also known as caches by using coordinates on their handheld GPS device. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says that there are caches everywhere and most people would be surprised to find that their are plenty of caches in Marion County. The event will be this Saturday from 10am-6pm and is free to the public. There will also be geocaching classes for beginners and advanced geocachers taking place at Lake Red Rock the same day. For more information you can contact Tracy Spry at 828-7522.
