Enduring conditions considerably tougher than in the preseason, the Central College women’s golf squad grabbed the first-round lead at its own two-team tournament yesterday. Central’s Ali Miller and Kaurie Kincaid (sophomore, Knoxville) each carded 90 at the par-72 Bos Landen Golf Club and are tied for second individually, a shot behind the leader from William Penn. The Dutch hold a 30 stroke lead over the Lady Statesman as the final round takes place today.
