The Knoxville Police Department has been investigating a series of vandalism cases within the city recently and have successfully identified two groups of suspects. Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS news a group of four juveniles were charged with criminal mischief Tuesday for vandalism of property near Reed’s Automotive. In addition, another group of juveniles has been identified in connection with recent damages at the Methodist Church. Losada believes the majority of the victims were likely chosen at random, though there has been at least one case where the victim was targeted.
