The Pella Community School board met last night to resume its regular schedule. Two of the main items of business were the election of the new school board President and Vice-President. Marv Van Wyk was re-elected as President for the upcoming school year by a unanimous vote and Joan Corbin was also re-elected unanimously as Vice-President. Superintendent Mark Wittmer was granted early retirement along with four other Pella Community School employees. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 27 at 4:30.
